They moved to Scottsdale, AZ, in 1993, where Wally's oldest and beloved brother and sister-in-law, Landon and Betty Mayhugh resided. They moved to West Bloomfield, MI, in 2011, to be near Victoria's loving mother and family.

Wally loved automobiles and owned 25 cars during his lifetime, including many sports cars. Another passion was dancing, and he loved the disco era. He also loved going to Bible study, reading and his word search puzzles.

However, most of all, Wally will be remembered for his kindness, his great sense of humor, his jokes and his smile. He was always happy, and he loved making people laugh.
