James “Jimmy” E. Northmore, Jr. of Farmington Hills, MI died on August 28, 2016. He was 90 years old. Son of James E. Northmore, Sr., a staff photographer at the former Detroit Times, Jimmy was the co-owner of Boulevard Photographic Studios and an automotive photographic pioneer. Considered a “Magician & Artist” in the industry he made several innovations and patents used in photography. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Clara Northmore; his sister Glarys Tyrell; and his wife of 64 years Thelma “Dutch” Northmore. He is survived by his sons David (Christine), Christopher (Marilyn), and Tom Northmore and his grandson James Howard Northmore. Memorial Visitation Saturday, September 17th at 10am until time of Service 11am at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
