Dorothy J. Skiba, age 86, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Loving wife of Ray for 62 years.  Beloved mother of Michael (Donna), and Susan Skiba.  Grandmother of Hilary (Chris) Kemp and great grandmother of Max and Easton.

After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from Wayne State University, Dorothy taught in the Detroit Public School system.   Later she returned to Wayne State and earned her Masters and Doctorate Degree in Instructional Technology.  She then taught at Wayne State until leaving to work for AAA in the Human Resources Department until her retirement.  She spent many hours volunteering at both the Plymouth Historical Museum and the Henry Ford Museum.  Dorothy also enjoyed spending time with Ray studing Geneology.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 15 and Monday from 2-8PM at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Historical Museum, 155 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170.
