Robert B. Williams, age 69, passed away December 12, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl. Loving father of Renee (Christian) Cser, Blair (Aya) Williams, Morgan Williams and Robert (Sheila) Hicks and Russell Herrando. Proud grandfather of Nicholas Cser, Avery Cser, Brody Cser, Autumn Hicks and Robert Hicks. Dear brother of Sandy (Will) Govan, Sue (Andy) Foote, Sherry Williams, Paula Williams and the late Debbie LaPlante. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was proud to serve our country with 33 years of dedicated service in the National Guard and retired as a full bird colonel. He was an avid runner on the National Guard running team as well as personally participating in numerous marathons. Robert retired from General Motors where he was employed for 37 years. In his spare time, Robert loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, boating and Ski-Doo snowmobiling.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Scripture Service and Monday from 4:00 p.m. until  8:00 p.m. with 7:00 p.m. American Legion Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. Robert will lie In State on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 Warren Rd., Canton.
