Elizabeth “Pat” Springer, age 87, passed away March 20, 2018.

Pat was a former teacher with the Detroit Public Schools, Holcomb Elementary School. She was a devote parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for 47 years and was very active, participating in the Senior Club and the Bridge Club.

Pat was the beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Alesia (Jeff) Apple and the late Joey. Dear grandmother of Carly, Erin and Brian.

Visitation for Pat will be held on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. scripture service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Farmington. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
