Karen K. Peters, age 70, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018 in Canton, Michigan.

Karen grew up in the town of Crystal in central Michigan. She graduated from the Michigan State University School of Nursing in 1970.

Most of her 40 years of nursing were as an oncology nurse at the University of Michigan Hospital, retiring in 2010. Karen was an avid reader and enjoyed time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband Norman and her two caring children Jeffrey (Julia) Peters, and Kimberly (Nicholas) Granger; darling grandchildren Lia and Benjamin Peters, and Jack and Rhys Granger. She is also survived by her dear loving sister Cheryl Cain. She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Lucille Eldridge and parents-in-law Loran and Florence Peters.

The family will gather for her interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date.
