Mr. Stanley Roger Johnson passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home.  He was born Tuesday, April 1, 1947 a son of William and AnnaBell Johnson.  On January 23, 1971 he was married to Brenda B. Page in Highland Park, Michigan.  She preceded him in death on September 25, 2012. 

Mr. Johnson proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Prior to his retirement in 2015 he had worked as a job setter with General Motors at the Warren Plant for more than 40 years.  Mr. Johnson was the linchpin within the family.  He was a humble man with a kind soul who loved God and was very active at his church, Faith Covenant.  His selflessness, sense of humor and charm was known and enjoyed by all.  He was a “Jack-of-all-trades” and therefore was the go-to guy with the family and friends when something needed fixing.  Mr. Johnson enjoyed bowling, gardening and traveling, both within the United States and Internationally.   He was a doting grandpa, fondly known as Paca by his grandson.

Mr. Johnson was the loving father of Fern (Randy) Badu.  Special “Paca” of Jalen Badu.  Brother of William (Bill), Marnett, Jean, Ernest, Shirley, Elaine, Harold and Mildred.  A host of other family members and friends including Maurice and Stephanie Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5 – 8 P.M. at the McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Covenant Church, 35415 W. 14 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.  Final visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church.  Burial will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park Livonia, Michigan.
