Howard ‘Dave’ Harshbarger, age 73 of Farmington Hills, passed away August 30, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Ellen. Loving father of Dana and JD. Dear brother of Chip (Lalie), Rob, Lisa (Bob) Carey and uncle of Lauren (Todd) O’Mara, Kailee Heitman, Jenna Harshbarger and Taylor Novak.

Dave was a proud alumni member for Iowa football, a member of the Harrison Boosters, and co-founder of the Lifetime Survivor’s Club.  Dave's career was with different companies helping people navigate the ins-and-outs of employee benefits.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with an opportunity to share memories for a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills
