Steven Robert Nielson, age 46 of Farmington Hills, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2019.

He was the beloved husband of Kristin Nielson. Proud father of James Worsham, HaiLei Nielson, Hunter Nielson and Rowan Nielson. Loving son of Richard and Susan Nielson. Dear brother of Michael (Pam) Nielson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, his parents-in-law Carol Wack and Gary (Becky) Wack, and brother-in-law Jeffrey (Lisa) Wack.

Steven graduated from the University of Michigan and earned his engineering degree in just three years. He was a great husband, a devoted father and an all around great guy. Hockey was Steven's ultimate passion. He spent the majority of his time in the rink and loved to coach.  He will be deeply missed by his loving family.

Visitation for Steven will be held on Tuesday, February 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Lola Park Ev. Lutheran Church, Redford.
