John Goff, age 75 of West Bloomfield, MI passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol; sons Michael and Gary; grandchildren Lauren, Isabella, Owen, and Emily; and his loving siblings Thomas (Noreen), Michael (late Diane), Elizabeth (Gary), Daniel (Patricia), Dennis, Mary Catherine, and Maureen (R. Douglas).  John was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary and brother, Henry.

John was raised in East Detroit and attended Notre Dame High School in Harper Woods where he was very active in athletics. John and Carol were married in 1966 and raised their family in Royal Oak then later in Birmingham. He spent most of his career, where he was loved and respected, in the Food Service industry in Michigan. John touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with in a very unique way and will be missed by all.

John’s family would like to extend all their love and gratitude to the dedicated people of Residential Hospice.

John’s visitation will be Sunday, May 5th, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary and Time of Sharing at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state Monday, May 6th, 10:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass 11 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.  Memorial Contributions are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.
