Jau-Wen "Jerry" Chu, age 77 of Farmington Hills, passed away October 15, 2019. He was the loving husband of Martha for 47 years. Dear father of Alice (Kevin) Lashbrook and Eric (Tanja Andrzejewski-Chu). Adoring grandfather of Kailey, Riley, Saffron, and Freya. He also leaves behind many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Mr. Chu was a dedicated clinical chemist at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Medical Center for over 40 years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed tinkering and going Up North to Torch Lake. Mr. Chu adored his family, especially his four grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.

Visitation for Mr. Chu will take place Thursday, October 24th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Memorial Contributions in his name are appreciated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
