Margaret E. Witkop, age 94, of Jenison, Michigan, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020.  Born May 14, 1925 in Traverse City, Michigan to Carl J. Witkop, Sr. and Frances (Miller) Witkop.  Margaret graduated from Michigan State University in 1948 and received her Master’s Degree from University of Michigan. Margaret was a social worker for the State of Michigan her entire career.

Margaret was preceded in death by her brother Dr. Carl J. Witkop, Jr.   She is survived by her beloved sister, Frances M. Copp, “Hub” Copp, Mark (Peggy) Copp, Carl Gray Witkop, Mary Coffield, Martha Witkop, Annake (Brian) Ramsey, Jean Herron; and many beloved grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Antioch Lutheran Church, 33360 West 13 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan 48334 on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, Michigan  48154.
