Gordon E. Promo was born on April 7, 1922 and passed away on May 10, 2021 at the age of 99. He was the devoted and dedicated husband of Ruth for nearly 66 years; adoring father of Linda Green, Tammie (Michael) Rouen, and Vickie (Bryan) Meehan; blessed grandfather of Jeffrey Green, Ryan Sinks, Nina Meehan, Nicole Maljak, Derek Sinks, Kiernan Meehan, and Brady Meehan; cherished great grandfather of Presley Maljak, Rylee Sinks, and Charlotte Maljak; and dear son of the late Leo and Dora Promo. Gordon was an honored WWII veteran.

His viewing will be Friday, May 14th, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Time for Remembrance and Reflections at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Mr. Promo’s Military Funeral Honors and Final Farewell will follow Saturday, May 15th, at 12 p.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
