In Memory of My Beloved Donna,

Donna Elaine O’Beirne (nee Kocsis) was my loving wife for 52 beautiful years. Donna passed away suddenly at home, in her sleep, on Friday January 20, 2023 to be with God. We count ourselves lucky to have met so young and even more fortunate to have grown old together through the years.

Donna is also survived by our loving daughter, Michelle Black, our son-in-law Scott Black and 3 wonderful grandchildren: Madison, Noah and Ainsley. Donna spent much of her later years helping raise our 3 grandchildren. She lovingly babysat/nurtured all 3 grandchildren from birth until they were old enough to attend kindergarten, during the school day, while our daughter Michelle taught school.  

Donna’s parents, Steve and Mary Kocsis, and her brother Jack Kocsis preceded her in death.

A Memorial Gathering and Mass will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at St Thomas A Becket Catholic Church,  555 S. Lilley Rd, Canton, MI.

Interment will be held following the Memorial Mass in a private, family only, ceremony at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
