Kim was a dear friend who was amazing in all areas of her life: daughter, sister, wife, friend, teacher and her most cherished role as mom. Kim exemplified LIVING with cancer for most of her 3-year battle and she she was consistently an inspiration to her family and friends. Her sense of humor and love of life was contagious, and carries on in the eyes and smiles of her children. The world lost a great one today, and I am honored that she was my friend. Rest in peace, Kim!

Our prayers are with you all. Kim was such a wonderful person, she went above and beyond to help my son Ethan at Bird School. She had an incredible way with kids...we'll always remember her.

Kim was a light that shined on students with special needs at Bird and always will. Working beside her in our resource rooms was a blessing. She always had a way of easing the tension and showing me how important family is while having fun with teaching. My heartfelt prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.
