Dear Thom, Joyce, Jane, & Len; Rick and I are so very sorry Uncle Leonard passed! We are also very sorry that we can't attend the memorial services. We are living on the west side of Michigan until the end of September, then will return to our new home in Fort Worth, Texas. I have many fond memories visiting your family when I was a child. I'm very sorry Leonard's life has ended. He and your Mom were good people.They , like all our parents, were all part of shaping our lives. I remember the Lake home near Brookland, MI and the "Kool's" sail boat and my sheet kaftan that covered everything except my feet- so my feet got second degree burns! We had lots of laughs about all our parents. Such a strong generation! Save the memories in your heart.
