Don, Ryan and Kara, It is with great sorrow that I write this learning of the loss of Lori but with great joy knowing we had the chance to know her. Please know that all of you remain in our hearts and prayers. It's hard to believe it has been over 20 years since I drafted a young mini-mite skater with some speed who went on to win the Conn Smythe trophy that year. It must have been my time hanging out with Ken Holland to find those diamonds in the rough. I will always remember the picture that Lori took of the kids and had it published in the Observer. That picture is etched in the Ried scrapbooks for eternity. We always stop by the memorial brick Lori had put in at the Detroit Zoo for our Alyssa. We always remember you and Lori when we stop by that brick. The support you and Lori provided will always be treasured. With condolences and fond memories, Bill, Kim, Ryan & Derek
