Mr Bosse was always good to me. As was the entire family. God bless all of you.

Dear Bosse Family,
My deepest sympathies to all of you. I was very saddened to hear about Mr. Bosse's passing. He was a wonderful businessman and family man - bright, hard-working, decent, witty, respectful and kind. (I have many fond memories of him, three of which include: A father-daughter dance at Mercy High School - Mr. Bosse with his daughter - and I, with my dad; attending a couple of Notre Dame football games, compliments of Mr. Bosse ; and watching him give away both of his daughters at their respective weddings.) May God bless Mr. Bosse ... and May God bless and comfort the entire Bosse family.

Joe was a true gentleman from the first day I met him until the last day I saw him. Great memories; starting with that infamous handshake, winning bets on pushing a quarter through his Notre Dame ring and oh yes, my introduction to sushi through sake martinis. I was very fortunate to work with Joe early on, one of the reasons that I stayed at ITW. May he rest in peace.
I met Joe in 1976 when I was working as a high school intern at ITW Deltar in the engineering dept. I will never forget Joseph Napoleon Bosse! One quick memory was when I was very new and quite shy and hadn't met Joe in person yet -- he called and when I was taking a message for Rick Koscik, I asked his name to which Joe replied "just tell him God called"! With his larger than life voice, I wasn't sure he wasn't the real thing!
My sincere condolences,
Lou Hagemaster
Joe was a great Leader for ITW and a marvelous mentor to me personally. May you feel God's peace and comfort during this time.
We were so sad to hear that Joe has passed. We had so planned to visit and it never happened. If there is anything we can do, let us know.
