My condolences on the passing of George Blaty. He was a great friend to my Dad over the years. He was kind and thoughtful to me and my family. I will always remember how the Blatys wore out the dancefloor at my sisters' weddings at the DAC! As my brother Drew mentioned, our Dad also passed away in August. Please accept my condolences on the passing of George Blaty. We always enjoyed the families getting together & listening to George talk about serving in the Army with Dad (Don Miller). Unfortunately Dad also passed away in August. George certainly could dance! He performed at two Miller weddings clearing the dance floor at the DAC to the enjoyment of the assembled guests. I have fond memories of a wonderful man. May God bless the extended Blaty family & may George Rest in Peace.

I met both George and Susan at mass at St Fabian. For many Sundays we sat together. I send to Susan and her family my sincere heartfelt sympathy for their loss.

My wife and I offer our deepest condolences to you Susan and the whole family. I was very touched by George's obituary to better know my cousin, 19 years my senior. Our family left Detroit when our dad, Louis (Louie) passed away. He was a good friend to George and Bob when they were young. So much of what I read told me what a fine and honorable man of God George was to his Lord and Savior and to his family. A life well lived! To God be the glory!! God bless you Susan. I am so sorry Susan. I always enjoyed visiting with George when he'd come to Lansing to meet with Frank Kelley. He was a great guy and you were a fun and loving couple. Frank Kelley sends his condolences also. Pat Anderson

George was an outstanding lawyer & public servant. I'm certain that he's been assigned to St Peter's eternal judgement panel. May Our Lord comfort the family.

George was a "presence" in any room. People listened to him (I certainly did) and appreciated his wisdom and sound advice. We will all miss him so very much.
