Dear Cairns Family, Thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with the FCA teams. I did not personally know Mike. But I watched him from a distance. And his demeanor and actions spoke volumes about who he was and his intentions. He and I would say hello in passing in the hallways, as all long time FCA folks tend to do. It was an acknowledgement of each other's tenure and common bond and goal of making the company successful. I will miss passing him in the hallway. And his contribution to the truck program cannot be overstated. He has earned respect from many. Hope to meet up with him in heaven. Surely he is well on his way.

Cairns Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of workIng for Mike during my first position at Chrysler on the RAM Team. He treated the entire team like family and was always there for any needed guidance or support, in addition to leading us to deliver our best for RAM Brand. He will truly be missed. I met Mike when I joined the Truck Platform Team at JTE in 2004. He quickly earned my respect and friendship as we launched the Dakota renewal. Mike was friendly, right minded, he lead by example, and as he grew into his role as Ram VLE he made his mark on the industry as his leadership produced a highly respected Ram brand portfolio. Mike took over my duties as VI lead when I retired from FCA in 2015. He was the right man for the job. Not just because he knew the business, but because he treated people right and motivated them with the right combination of high expectations and perfectly timed humor. I know Mike is in a much better place now, and I pray that his family can work through his passing and someday find peace with it. Mike made such a positive impact on so many people. He will be missed by all of us. May God bless all in his family and all those he touched in his life.

Dear Cairns family. I am so sorry for this loss. Mike was an amazing man. He changed my view of FCA and is a big reason I still work there today. He was a light when my flame flickered and was a true leader to many. He was so approachable on making program and product discussions and decisions and was not afraid to trust someone to make it the way their passion offered highlighting and offering benefits from those grow moment opportunities. I will never forget what he offered, stood for and his approach to completing tasks. Mike was very inspirational person to me and so glad I was able to know him for the time I was able too.
