Mark my man will be missed

I was very saddened to hear about Mark's passing. I had not talked to Mark for a long time, but the impact he had on my life is something I will treasure. We met at Hillsdale College. We became instant friends. Mark use to line judge our volleyball games, and he had his own unique "style" for making calls, leaving the referee quite confused. But Mark would flash that wry smile and give that head tilt, and all would be forgiven! Many bonfires, his old blue car, him coaching first base for the softball team, and spring break in Florida are just a few of the great memories I have with Mark. He was a huge part of my college years and he helped shape my attitude about the world. Sincere condolences to his boys and his family. Carrie Bowen Kendro, Hillsdale class of '85.
