It is with great sadness that I learned of Dan's passing. All of us at the Sports Club will miss our daily interactions with Dan. He was a wise and caring man. To Margie, Mark and Kaylene, Lee and Hope and Jacob, I hope you can find peace in the memories and legacy Dan left behind.

Dan was my walking partner at the Sports Club for the past 2 years. Our walks together formed a nice bond between us: I will always remember my friend!

Dan was a kind and caring person. He was dedicated to his work at GM Legal. When I joined the staff I started in the Labor Group. Dan taught me a lot and genuinely cared about my success and development as a lawyer. He was a true family man, always talking about his wife and sons, all of whom he loved dearly. I am sorry to learn of his passing.

I have known Dan since his earliest days on the Legal Staff, where we both worked in the Personnel and Labor Relations practice area. Recently we had multiple Words with Friends games going and I was wondering why he hadn't taken his turns. I am shocked at his sudden passing. He was a good lawyer and a kind person. I continued to have reasons to consult with him during my time as an HR Manager at Saturn right up till I retired. I know he will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to Margie and the family.

I worked with Dan for over 25 years on various employment-related legal issues. He always provided sound advice and a good story! He was a genuinely good human being with a big heart. While working on the GM legal staff Dan supported the GM Benefits team for years, which is how I met him and got to know him. He always made himself available and had vast knowledge of benefits, Workers' comp and the law in general. Appreciated his guidance and support, so sorry to hear of his passing, thinking of his family at this time.

I had the privilege to work for Dan as "outside Counsel" some years back. if you did you job, Dan had your back. It was a privilege to work for him.
