I will always remember Cele's gentle smile at St. Fabian Sunday mass over the years, and the times I'd chat with her, back when I was in the handbell choir with Ellen and John. What a lovely mother, grandmother, and human being. Godspeed, Cele.

One summer day, as a young boy, Uncle Walt Austin and I departed from Devils Lake to arrive at his home in Farmington Hills. The trip was a very special time in the car together. Upon arrival we planted a tree in his back yard. When we arrived back to the lake Aunt Cele greeted me with her famous home made popsicles!!!

Dear Len, Amy, Ellen & Bill I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. A few years back I ran in to your Mom and told her I was just in the old neighborhood and she said "oh why didn't you stop in and say hi" Just like your Mom always so welcoming. I remember the hot chocolate, w/marshmallows, your Mom made for us after the very cold Christmas caroling outings. And those popsicles during the hot summers days. I'm still not sure how she made them taste better then any other. I hope and pray all your great memories of your Mom carry you through this very difficult time. Love, Nancy (Lang) Leemgraven
