My wife and I were fortunate enough to have eaten at the Lark twice. We were treated like royalty by Mr. Lark, even though we are of simple means. What a wonderful experience. Our condolences to his family. Rest well Mr. Lark.
Memories
I was very fortunate to have known Mr. Lark during my high school years meeting him through his son Eric (my friend and fellow kegler). Mr. Lark and Mary were kind enough to give me a job working at the Lark restaurant and it was an opportunity I will never forget. He opened my eyes on how to deal with people, handle issues, and how to build a world class business all while raising a wonderful family and maintaining close friends. When a French press coffee maker broke on the table and spilled all over a patron, Mr. Lark and Mary handled the situation calmly and professionally and within 5 minutes the situation was diffused and rectified. Thanks for being a mentor and being part of my life. My thoughts are with Mary, Eric and the entire Lark family.
While I only met Mr. Lark a couple of times, I went to elementary school with Adrian. MY wife and I enjoyed dining at The Lark and seeing Adrian so proudly representing the fine restaurant bearing the family name. My condolences to the Lark Family with thoughts and prayers to Adrian during this challenging time.
