Joan Helen Miller passed away October 9, 2024 at the age of 82. She was the loving mother of Steve (Tammy) Miller; cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Joshua) Weaver; and dear sister of the late Paula Rosenberger.

Joan Helen Franke was born in Detroit on February 24, 1942 to Gunther and June Franke. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1960 and lived much of her life in Monroe. Joan went onto work for and retired from the Monroe County Library System after several years of dedication.

Joan was an avid sports fan as she loved U of M football, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers. Joan dedicated her time to her family who will miss her love dearly.

A private memorial service for Joan will be held. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions to Huron Vally P.A.C.E. in Joan’s name are greatly appreciated.
