Trent Thomas DesOrmeau, age 44, passed away November 13, 2024. He was born February 22, 1980 in Petoskey, Michigan to William and Mary DesOrmeau.

A graduate of Alpena High School, Trent excelled at hockey throughout his high school years. He loved to golf, play fantasy football, and poker with friends. One of his greatest joys was watching his children succeed, particulary cheering on his son with his bowling accomplishments and his daughter’s cross country and track events. Trent was strong in his faith and a member of the Knight of Columbus with St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church. Always smiling, Trent’s outgoing and friendly spirit will truly be missed by so many.

Trent is survived by his wife Kim and was the loving father of Morgan and Tanner. Cherished son of Bill and Mary. Dear brother of Todd and Joel (Laura). Also survived by his nephews Sullivan and Sawyer. Trent will also be missed by his faithful dogs, Reeses and Cove.

Visitation for Trent will be held on Sunday, November 17th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00  p.m. Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. He will lie in state on Monday, November 18th, at 10:00 a.m., until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton.
