It was always a joy to sit at the bridge table with Ed. What a wonderful gentleman. We will all miss him!
Deepest condolences to family and friends of Ed. I only knew him for a short time but found him a very congenial and outgoing bridge player and human being. I am sure I speak for many at the Bridge Connection.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ed's family. He was an outgoing man, who loved life. We will miss him!
Ed will be missed so much by all his bridge playing friends. His smiling face and welcoming words made us all happy. Any time a bridge player made a new achievement he would call me over and say..."Here, take this and buy them a cake to celebrate".. as he handed me a twenty. Generous, outgoing and fun was our Mr. Ed. He will always be in our hearts.
Dad, you are and always will be the greatest man I'll ever know, I am filled with the deepest gratitude that I was so lucky to be your daughter. Will miss everything about you until my last breath. Thank you for being my daddio
What a great man. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always with a smile on his face.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his lovely family.
Whenever we encountered Mr Ed, whether at a bridge table or social occasion, we knew a lively time was in store for all. His wit, sometimes biting, always drew a response from even the most quiet. Losing a dollar bet to him on the Tigers or Bridge was not bad because he was such a gracious winner (not!). His enthusiasm and outgoing friendliness will always be remembered and greatly missed. We have lost a true and great comrade.
Sending our sympathy to the family
I've known Mr. Ed for relatively short time, but found his friendliness infectious and enjoyed our conversations. So long my friend till we meet again
Mr. Ed was the leader and organizer of our Wed. morning breakfast club at Three Brothers. He kept us laughing.
Our group will never be the same without him. I will miss him. Neil Manley
The family will remember all the good times and the bridge players will remember his good play and humor
A great life; he will be sorely missed. RIP.
Mr Ed was a wonderful friend and mentor. He never said a cross word to anyone. He was an excellent bridgeplayer by all the dollars I gave him, proved it He was always fun to be with no matter where ewe were Prayers for the family during this difficult time
