Bruce McLean, cherished spouse and father, passed away on September 27, 2016

Born in Detroit November 08, 1935, Bruce was blessed to enjoy his life with his wife Jean (Peters) of 57 years, their daughters Susan McLean and Jean (Joe) Lindsly and their children, Chad, Stephen, and Christopher Humphreys. He is survived by his two sisters Joyce (Chuck) O’Connell and Donna Mason, many nieces and nephews and several close friends.

Bruce McLean is preceded in death by Edward and Margaret (Schafer) McLean.

Bruce attended St. Cecilia’s and upon graduation, Bruce entered the army where he served in Germany. While in Germany, Bruce developed a love of travel which lasted his lifetime. Bruce worked for Chevrolet for over 35 years as Administrator of Customer Service.

Bruce enjoyed rides by the lake, family vacations, dinners out, time with his grandsons – particularly watching their hockey games. He was able to joke and tease with those around him and enjoyed visits by friends and family members. He was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

Visitation Friday 4pm-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Instate Saturday 10:30am until time of Funeral Mass 11am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association in his name.
