Stella Wasmer, age 94. Born on November 2, 1922 and passed away on March 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Bjarne "Johnny" Johnsen for 12 years and the late Darwin Wasmer for 29 years. Cherished mother of Mark (Lorrie) Johnsen, Rita (Don) Prochot and the late William (Bettyjane) Wasmer. Loving grandmother of Hayley. Dear sister of Helen Barger and the late Edward and Walter. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Stella was a talented seamstress, quilt maker and loved to knit and basket weave. She enjoyed volunteering at an elementary school reading to first graders in her spare time. She had a great sense of humor. Stella was proud to have worked in the automotive industry for many years.

Visitation Sunday, April 2nd from 4-8pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Instate Monday, April 3rd at 10am until time of Service at 11am at McCabe Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Grandlawn Cemetery in Detroit. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan in Stella's honor.
