Mary L. Freed (Anderson) age 87, passed away July 18, 2017. Loving wife of Rev. John Freed, retired pastor, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church of West Bloomfield. Devoted mother of David (Sunny), Beth (Ben) Carter and Jeanne Freed. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Janel, John, and Joseph Carter and Summer and Margie Freed.

Mary was born in Merrill, Wisconsin. Prior to marriage, she was employed by Lincoln County Bank in Merrill. Mary was a charter member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, a former Children’s Choir director, and a member of the church bell choir.

Memorial Visitation will be Sunday 3pm-8pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Memorial Service will be Monday 10:30am at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 4800 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, MI with visitation at the church prior to her service. Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in her name. Her burial will take place in Merrill, Wisconsin.
