Callum Morrison

February 21, 1933 - July 19, 2017

Callum Morrison, age 84. Born on Isle of Lewis, Scotland on February 21, 1933 and passed away on July 19, 2017. Beloved husband of Peggy for 54 years. Dear brother of the late Dolina (Alec) Morrison, Annie (Murdo) MacMillan, Mary (Donald) Murdoch, Catriona Morrison and Joan (Angie) MacKay. Callum is also survived by nephew Angus MacKay and many other nieces and nephews in Scotland; special friends Murdo (Catherine) Martin and family and John (Betty Ann) MacLeod, and loving caregiver Mona Niang.

Callum learned his trade in the Glasgow shipyards and then sailed to many ports in the world. Prior to immigrating to America, he worked at the Atomic Energy Plant in Scotland. A graduate of Lawrence Tech, he worked many years as an engineer at Ford Motor Company where he was called “Scotty”.

Proud of his Scottish ancestry, Callum was a generous, thoughtful, and soft spoken man, blessed with a dry sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, July 28th from 10am until Memorial Service at 12pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.
