Larry Short age 59, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017.  Loving husband of Julia for 39 years.  Beloved father of Cheryl (Nate) Matteson, Michelle (Kevin) Carey, and Julia Short.  Grandfather of Oliva, Natalie, and Marcus Carey.  Also surviving are his parents Doy and Frankie Short, a sister Rosalie (the late James) Giles and several nieces and nephews.

Larry retired from General Motors, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 4-7 pm, with a service at 7, from McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
