Carol Reichard, 85, passed away on September 20, 2017.

Beloved wife of David Reichard and big sister to Buddy (MaryAnn) Canavan. Loving and very special mother of Karen Petronio,  Danny (Diane) Petronio, Bobbie Jean (Chuck) Reed, Diann (Mark) Sinclair, and Tim (Sydney) Reichard, Tammy (Ronald) Gott and Kim Reichard. Proud grandmother of Nikki (Geoff) Boyle, Brian (Elisabeth) Reed, Kristen (Ben) Tebbutt, Jess Sinclair, Alex (Jennifer) Reed, Curt (Jen) Sinclair, Tracey (Jeff) Brandt, Shelby Sinclair, Alan Sinclair, Kathryn (Justin) Holdsworth, Ronald Gott, Kyle Petronio, Reid Reichard and loving great grandmother of Ana, Claire, Gigi, Micah and Brigit Boyle; Mia, Luke, and Lil Tebbutt; Effie Brandt; Melanie Reed; and Elijah Reed.

Predeceased by husband George Petronio, parents John and Rose Teresa Canavan, and sister Nancy (Jack) Byrne.

Carol graduated from Kings County Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1952 and has practiced nursing in New York and Michigan for many years.  She enjoyed golf, tennis, bridge, traveling, Mystery Club, camping, and especially time with family, grandkids and great grandkids.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22nd from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills. Instate on Saturday, September 23rd at 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00am at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills.

In lieu of flowers, Carol requested donations to be made to Angela Hospice in Livonia, Michigan.
