John C. Griffin, age 77, passed away December 7, 2017. Loving husband of the late Paula for 39 years. Devoted father of Holly (Michael) Terpstra and Laura (Bradley) Gerwatowski. Cherished grandfather of Lara, Jenna, Leah, Ty and Melia. Dear brother of the late Ronald.

John was a proud United States Naval veteran. He was also the longtime owner of Paul Maykovich Insurance Agency in Redford Township. John will be remembered for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor.

Visitation Wednesday, December 13, from 5pm-8pm and Thursday, December 14, from 1pm-8pm with a 7pm Scripture Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. In state Friday, December 15, 10am until his Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
