On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Theodore M. Gaderick, father of three children and grandfather to six grandchildren, passed at the age of 88.

Ted was born on December 12, 1930 in New York, New York to Raymond and Rose (Busch) Gaderick.  He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York in 1948.  He continued his education at New York University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1955.  He concluded his education at NYU in 1960 where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration.    

Ted moved to various places up and down the east coast as he climbed the corporate ladder.  He eventually settled in Michigan in 1980 where he became a Vice President of Finance for a fortune 500 Company.  He became a business owner in 1992 when he purchased Header Heat Treat.  He loved running Header Heat Treat which became Thermal One.  He ran the Company until he retired in 2015.

Ted is survived by his sister Marilyn Hubay of Sun City, AZ, brother Franklin Garerick of Deland, FL; three children: Pam Kiggen of Orlando, FL; Richard Gaderick of Scottsdale, AZ; Robert (Jessica) Gaderick of Plymouth, MI; and six grandchildren: Evan, Tommy, and Andrew Kiggen, Michael Rapp, Jack and William Gaderick.

Ted loved spending time with his family and traveling.  For many years he rented a beach house for his entire family to spend a week together in Charleston, South Carolina. He especially loved to travel monthly to Naples, Fl where he owned a condominium.

A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N. Territorial Rd. Plymouth, MI.  Memorial Contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association.
