Lee Schauman, age 76, passed away April 23, 2019. He was engaged to be married to Suzette Roth. He is the loving father of Dawn (Chris) Woodring, Chris Schauman, Lisa (Mike) Hitchingham, and Sara Schauman; devoted grandfather of Alex, Matthew, Elizabeth, Lily, and the late Nathaniel; dear brother of Ron (Helen) and Dennis (Margaret) Schauman; and former spouse of Gloria Schauman. Lee also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and dance partners.

Lee was born in Detroit on August 24, 1942 to Walter and Charlotte Schauman. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Lee was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was very social and enjoyed spending time with his family, eating, and dancing. Lee was always willing to help those in need. His infectious smile and caring nature will be missed dearly.

Visitation Friday, May 3rd, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Knights of Columbus and Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie In State Saturday, May 4th, 10:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd, West Bloomfield Township. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens, Livonia. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus and the Cancer Research Institute in his name.
