Francesca Drabkowski, age 74, passed away November 16, 2019.

Fran graduated from Fordson High School and worked for AAA as an agent. It was there that she would meet her husband-to-be, William. Not long after Fran and William married, their family grew. With the birth of their son, Fran decided to focus her attention on motherhood, staying home to raise Bill. Although she loved her life at home, being a wonderful wife and doting mother, Fran still managed to work when time allowed. Inheriting her mother’s skills, she was known to be a great cook and enjoyed spending time with extended family. Being a genuinely loving a caring person, Fran never had a bad thing to say, and she made many life-long friends because of this. Her gentle and kind disposition will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Francesca was the beloved wife of William for 41 years. Cherished mother of Bill. Loving sister of Gasper (Carol) Volpe, the late Rose Starks, the late Vincent Volpe and sister-in-law of Chris Drabkowski and Jean Dytyniak.  Dear aunt of Debbie Gasser and Rob Drabkowski.

Visitation for Fran will be held on Tuesday, November 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 20th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will lie in state on Thursday, November 21st at 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Entombment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
