Mr. Hugh J. Oswald, age 94 of Venice, Florida, passed away November 12, 2019. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Lyn for 57 years. Cherished father of Greg (Linda), Lori (Neil) Clark, and Kevin (Mary Cae). Adored grandfather of Scott, Erik, Ashley, Natalie, Sean, and the late Ian. Proud great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Timothy. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.  

Hugh was a veteran of the United States Military and proudly served as a Marine during World War II where he was wounded in combat, earning his Purple Heart.

Visitation for Hugh will be held Saturday, November 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Interment will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery, West Bloomfield Township. Memorial contributions in Hugh’s name are appreciated to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota, Florida.
