Penny Kay Persinger, age 72 of Canton, passed away November 27, 2019.

Penny loved to cook, especially for her family, and always looked forward to spending time with them. She enjoyed visiting different places, with Frankenmuth being one of her favorites. Penny retired as an optician with the University of Michigan at the Kellog Eye Center.

She was the loving mother of Rose Ann (George) Turrill, Kenneth (Donna) Edwards, Jr., and the late James (Karin) Edwards. Dear grandmother of Anna, Jessica, and Mackenzie Turrill and Allison, Jack, Parker, Colin, and Kaitlyn Edwards. Adored great-grandmother of Carter and Cecilia Turrill and Caydence Robertson.

Visitation for Penny will be held Tuesday, December 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Road, Canton. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions in Penny’s name are appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
