Peter A. Mannino, age 62 of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, January 12, 2020. He was married to the love of his life, Maria, for forty years and was immensley proud of his two children, Pietrina and Peter. But it was his grandchildren, Sienna and Luca, that brought him joy and kept him on his toes.

Peter was a self-made entrepreneur.  At age twelve he delivered newspapers and cut neighbors’ lawns. By sixteen he was delivering pizzas for his family’s business, the Original Romanos. Peter was a third generation produce purveyor. In the early hours of the morning you would find him in the Eastern Market, picking up produce to deliver to his customers. He was well known by many for his sense of humor, bigger than life personality, and work ethic. He was the first to volunteer to help anyone in need. He will be profoundly missed by everyone that knew him.

Peter was the beloved husband of Maria for 40 years. Loving father of Pietrina and Peter (Alyta). Proud grandfather of Sienna and Luca. Dear brother of Salvatore, Tina (James) Cracchiolo, Antonia (Mark) Feldman, Thomas (Annita) and Joseph (Laura). Also survived by nieces, nephews, his beloved pets, and many friends.

Visitation for Mr. Mannino will take place on Thursday, January 16th, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. Twelve Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state on Friday, January 17th, at 10:30 a.m., until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hugo of the Hills Catholic Church (Stone Chapel), 2215 Opdyke Road, Bloomfield Hills.
