Vicki Jay Brooks, age 74 of Farmington Hills, passed away on January 24, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Billie Brooks. Loving mother of Kathleen (Tim) Kunze, Susan (Kirtus) Thurston, Kristie (Ed) Bowman, Jerry (the late Sue) Brooks and Gary (Pam) Brooks. Dear grandmother of Andrew Kunze, Matthew Kunze, Kristina (Joe) Amenta, Janie Thurston, Kye Thurston, Dax Thurston, Andrew Bowman, Matthew Bowman, Sean Bowman, Ryan Bowman and Charles Brooks. She is also survived by her sister Sandy (the late Richard) Wasylk.

Vicki will be remembered for her caring and nurturing spirit. She was devout in her faith and loved spending time with her family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, who all held a very special place in her heart.

Visitation for Vicki will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th, at 11:00 a.m., with gathering beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Crescent Hills Cemetery, Waterford. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the family.
