Sara Cochran, age 57 of Westland, passed away May 5, 2020.

Sara had a presence that would light up any room. She was a devoted wife and mother and shared her welcoming spirit to all who knew her. Most will remember that Sara presented herself as ready for anything. With her hair and makeup perfectly done, she was always prepared. Sara had a natural talent to make everyone feel included and appreciated. She truly enjoyed being around people and loved to help her friends and family in all capacities. As a dedicated member of Plymouth Christian Fellowship, Sara could always be counted on, especially when it came time to decorate, making the church a beautiful place for all to adore during the Christmas season. There’s no doubt Sara’s passing has left an incredible void in her family and community. She will be missed deeply but has left countless wonderful memories in the hearts of those who treasured her the most.

Due to current circumstances, private family services will take place. A memorial to celebrate Sara’s life and great contribution to this world will be planned for future date.

Sara was the beloved wife of Derek for just shy of 25 years. Loving mother of Connor. Cherished daughter of Grace and the late Howard Bailey. Dear sister of Becki Spina, Gretchen Perez, Paul (Robin) Bailey and the late Peter Bailey. She is also survived by many other extended family members.
