Claire Antone, age 87 of Commerce Township, passed away July 19, 2020

Mrs. Antone’s greatest joy was her cherished family. Before her husband Noori’s passing in 2012, they shared 45 loving years together. During these years she was the consummate wife and mother, all while proudly keeping her home pristine. As her family continued to grow and she became a grandmother, she found even more love and happiness to give. She loved to dote on them, cook for them, and spend as much time with them as possible. Mrs. Antone has made countless wonderful memories with her dear family and she will be deeply missed.

She was the beloved wife of the late Noori. Loving mother of Mark, Jennifer (Jim) Zanoni, and Casey. Cherished Nana of Olivia and Michael.

Mrs. Antone will lie in state on Wednesday, July 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. She will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be maintained at church and masks must be worn. Per the Archdiocese of Detroit, churches may now seat up to 50 percent of their capacity, provided that face-coverings are still worn and physical distancing between households can be maintained.
