David Rykalsky, age 74 of Canton, passed away July 26, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. 

David was the beloved husband of Jill for 37 years. Loving and very proud father of Michael (Diana Stipcak) and Jonathon Rykalsky. He was the cherished brother of Richard (Veronica) Rykalsky, Barbara Miller, Thomas (Patricia) Rykalsky, Robert (Deborah) Rykalsky. Predeceased by siblings Patricia Rykalsky, Ronald Rykalsky and Sharon (Brad) Dickey. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

David was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1946 to Edward and Cecilia Rykalsky. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. David retired last year after many years of automotive and retail management and service. He was proud to be a wonderful example of a strong work ethic to his family and co-workers.

David loved to fish, and he treasured time spent with family in Northern Michigan, especially Hessel. He also enjoyed following and sharing his knowledge of the stock market, sports, Polish cooking, playing cards. And he loved watching his favorite show, Judge Judy.

David will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Memorial Donations in his name are appreciated to Vietnam Veterans of America, the Michigan Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
