George L. Ringstad Jr., age 99 of Franklin, passed away September 5, 2020.

George was born in Detroit on September 13, 1920 to the late George and Maude Ringstad. He was a proud United States Army Air Forces veteran, serving both stateside and overseas. George attended the Henry Ford Trade School, which lead him to a long career with the Ford Motor Company. He was a dedicated member of Franklin Community Church where he served on the Church Board. He lived a full life, making countless memories with his loving family and community. George has left a wonderful legacy and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary. Loving father of George III (the late Kathleen), Karen, and Curtis. Cherished grandfather of Brian and Tracy (Trevor Tutro-Anderson).

Visitation for Mr. Ringstad Jr. will be held on Thursday, September 10th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Committal services will take place on Friday, September 11th, at 11:00 a.m. at Franklin Cemetery, Franklin.
