Pamela A. Lucas

November 5, 1945 - October 26, 2020

Pamela A. Lucas, age 74 of Livonia, passed away October 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was the loving mother of Derek Lucas and Brandi (Robert) Straker. Proud grandmother of Lyndsey. Dear sister of Susan (Carl) Fitzpatrick, Kelly (Mike) Branch, Patrick (Edie) Fitzpatrick. Cherished aunt of Jack (Magdalena), Tyler, Emily (Rich), Keith (Aubree), and great-aunt of Aurelia. Pam is preceded in death by her brother, Tim Fitzpatrick, and her fiancé James Lubig.

Pamela Ann Lucas was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 5, 1945 to the late Richard and Janice Fitzpatrick. She attended Thurston High School in Redford Township, Michigan and graduated in 1963. Pam furthered her education and enrolled at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She entered the dental profession and worked most of her adult life as a dental assistant.  After retiring she worked part-time for Livonia schools caring so much for the children she worked with.

Pam had a special love for gardening and enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. Cooking Sunday dinners, boat rides, garden walks, going to the newest restaurants, luncheons, zoos, art fairs, going to Heavenly Scent, you name it, she would be there.

She was always organizing get togethers for family and friends for any reason or no reason at all. Deemed the family event planner, she was known for organizing all the holidays and the annual family breakfasts in the park. She really loved going for boat rides and was able to spend her last days looking out at the lake. A truly selfless and generous woman, Pam always put others before herself. More than anything, she was a loving mother and grandmother, an amazing sister, aunt and friend.
