Richard A. Hall, age 71 of Farmington Hills, passed away November 18, 2020. He was born and raised in Detroit, to the late Richard and Ann Hall.

A traditional family man who wholeheartedly embraced life, Richard could always be counted on in every aspect. For work, he enjoyed a long career with Peterbilt as a sales manager, only retiring a short time ago. His enthusiasm for trucks expanded to a love of cars in general, leading him to his prized 1996 Corvette.

Always willing to help wherever needed, Richard was a terrific handyman. He was glad to give his time and skill around the house, as well to both of his daughters, especially when they started homes of their own. Although Richard looked forward to any time spent with family, he especially treasured spending time with Susan as they traveled throughout Northern Michigan, and particularly to his favorite spot, Traverse City. He truly appreciated the relaxing scenery of Michigan’s beautiful waterfronts and peaceful nature reserves.

Richard was an exceptional husband, dad and father-in-law. And when he became a grandpa, a new level of love and pride was set alight. He loved to dote on his granddaughters, grateful to see his family grow and share in their continued love. Leaving countless wonderful memories for his family to treasure, Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Richard was the beloved husband of Susan for 40 years. Cherished father of Jessica (Brian) Rossana and Stephanie (Scott) Weintrob. Proud grandpa of Brynn and Sophie. Loving brother of Dennis (Pam) Hall.

Visitation for Mr. Hall will be held on Sunday, November 22nd, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture and Eulogy service at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. He will lie in state on Monday, November 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills. Burial will follow in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia.

Memorial donations in Richard’s name are appreciated to the American Cancer Society or Heart to Heart Hospice.
