Richard Cafarelli, age 94, passed away January 8, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of the late Vera. Father of Joseph (Joanne), Daniel, and Richard (Joanne). Grandfather of Lynn, Ryan, Jennifer, Kyle, Kevin, Kimberly, Martin and Maeve. Great-grandfather of Cali, Kris, William, Anthony, Jacob, Luke, Maxwell, Mason and Riley.

Mr. Cafarelli was US Army veteran, having served in the European Theatre during World War II. He dedicated many hardworking years as a longshoreman and was a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Orange County, NY.

Visitation for Mr. Cafarelli will be held on Monday, January 11th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service at McCabe Funeral Home, 851 N. Canton Center Rd., Canton. He will lie in state on Tuesday, January 12th, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, 48755 Warren Rd., Canton. Interment will be in Eagle Valley Cemetery, Highland Falls, NY.
