It is with profound sadness we announce and mourn the sudden passing of the beloved Gary “Dash” Gurney, age 63 of Farmington Hills. He touched each life that he was a part of and he will be dearly missed. 

He was a devoted Soulmate and Fiancé to Jeannine Stefanko. Cherished Father of Stephanie (Andrew) Fusco, Stephen (Madonna) Gurney, Gregg (Kasie) Gurney, Lindsay Stefanko, and Emily (Merrick) Goodman. Proud Grandfather of Andrew, Ava, and Vincent Fusco; Lyric, Brenden and Adilyn Gurney, and one more on the way. Loving Brother of Diane Sparrow and Charlene Gurney. 

He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and joy and countless wonderful memories. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important -the simplicity of living a life with those you love. 

A celebration of his life and visitation will be held Sunday, February 14th, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCabe Funeral Home, 31950 West 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills, Michigan.
