Susan E. Christian, age 94 of Novi, passed away March 3, 2021.

Susan was born on March 16, 1926 in the “Bluegrass State” of Kentucky. From an early age she perfected the art of wheeling and dealing, having had numerous side jobs throughout her life. Among Susan’s many accomplishments, maintaining her brokerage license and real-estate business was her greatest achievement. She was a busy body and enjoyed many activities outside of her work. Susan had a green thumb in the garden and was known for growing tomato plants that would tower over her. When Susan was not gardening, she was sewing, which eventually turned into a clothing alteration side job. She was a true businesswoman who was ahead of her time.

Susan was the beloved wife of the late Robert for 21 years. She leaves behind many cousins, friends, and her four-legged companion, Chi Chi.

Mrs. Christian will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
